Hello, my name is Svenja, I am happily married and the mother of four wonderful children. I live with my family in a rural area of Schleswig Holstein. Our family also includes two dogs, fourteen chickens, two cats and two guinea pigs.

My passion for making glass beads began in 2008 when I came across handmade glass beads by chance while looking for glass beads for my bracelet. I was completely perplexed, along the lines of. How can you make them yourself? :) I really wanted to be able to do that too! I then took a taster course, which confirmed my fascination and never let go.

I find working with glass magical because it is a material that is constantly changing and transforming. In the flame it becomes soft like honey, I can shape and form it as I imagine it and the cooled finished piece of jewelry shines and shimmers in different colors depending on the type of glass and the incidence of light. I love it :)

I hope that I can spread some joy with my glass beads and it is always a nice reward and motivation for me when I receive positive feedback :)
