The Manufacturing Process

"Bead Winding" with a 2-Gas Torch

The process takes place with a 2-gas torch, where the glass rods are melted at around 1200°C. I then wind the molten glass around a stainless steel rod that has been coated with a release agent, shaping the beads—hence the term "bead winding."

Gentle Cooling for Long-Lasting Quality

After production, the beads are carefully cooled in a special kiln over several hours. This step is crucial to avoid stresses in the glass and to ensure the durability and quality of the beads.
